Douglas RB-66B Destroyer

The B-66 was used by the U.S. Air Force as a tactical bomber, photo and weather reconnaissance, and electronic countermeasures platform. The U.S. Navy used a similar aircraft designated A-3D Skywarrior. This RB-66 was used at Chanute Technical Training Center in aircraft electrician courses, and was previously used as a test bed for BOMARC missiles.

This RB-66B, S/N 53-0412, is on loan to Octave Chanute Aerospace Museum from the National Museum of the United States Airforce.
